Does sleeping a 3 hour sleep during the day make my baby sleep less during the night?

A. getting up 2-3 times in the night- totally normal, mine was to bed at 7, up at 12 then up at 3 until about 5 months, now he only gets up at 3 and I'm pretty excited about that! I know that breast milk is metabolized faster than formula so physiologically they NEED to eat through the night- not their fault- tiny tummies. Having said that I was given advice by a nurse not to let baby sleep more than 2 hours in the day to avoid day-night confusion. Good luck.

A. No, it will NOT take any longer. As long as you have the oven set to the proper temperature, they will all cook together at the same time! You could have 1,000 chickens in there, the oven will adjust them temperature to cook them together!

How to disconnect one 3 way electrical switch so just the other works by itself?

I have two 3 way electrical switches at the house that run the same light.The wiring going to one of the switches is getting rotten and the switch is unneeded and unused.Is there a way to disconnect the one 3 way switch in where the other will work alone?There are only 3 wires running to each switch.How to get it in where only 1 switch is needed? Im do not really understand the electrician "lingo".What is a feed wire?The house is so old the wires are not color coded.All i know is there is one wire that connects to the switch next to a spot called "com" and the other 2 are connected in 2 other unmarked spots on the switch.

A. You need a normal switch for this. $1 at store. Remove three way switch and replace with normal switch. Take feed wire( from gold screw) attach to switch. Twist other two wires together connect to switch. Remove wires from unwanted switch twist them all together your done. Feed is the hot wire usually black red blue. Travelers are usually two switchleg colors yellow orange brown. Switch leg would odd colored wire. Sometimes electritions do not follow color code. One switch will have feed one will have switch leg. Those wires will be on gold screws. I screwd up but edited out bad info I was making it harder then it had to be.

How many minutes does your 3 month old baby feed for on the breast?
Q. My son is 3 months and two weeks old, he breastfeeds only on one side for about 6-8 minutes, is this normal? Is he meant to be breastfeeding for longer,im not sure if he finishes the milk on the side that he feeds but he doesnt take any more whatever I do?His nighttime sleep is 3 hours at a time, meaning we wake up 2-3 times a night.Does anyone else out there the same??

A. My daughter is 9 weeks old and she has only fed about 8-10 minutes per breast since birth, and a lot of times it's only one breast that she'll eat. I was worried about it too, thinking she wasn't getting enough, and asked the pediatrician who replied, the older a baby gets the more proficient they get at eating and it takes them about 8 minutes to fully drain a breast. If they stay on a lot longer they're probably doing it for their need to suck, not to eat. As long as your son is having wet/dirty diapers and gaining weight approriately, than he's just a really good eater! Three hour clips at night sounds about right too. If you want to get him to sleep a little longer, try a dream feed, where you feed him, he falls asleep for bedtime… [cont.]

How big a cage is needed for 3 baby raccoons?
Q. We have had a raccoon before, and successfully reintroduced it to the wild. This year, we were asked to raise 3 orphaned, 2 males, and one female. We do know that the males and female must be separated. They are about 6 weeks old, and they are in 3 x 3 x 3 cages in the house. A. I have raised raccoons before too. I had a cage for them outside and it was a huge one, because it had a pool and limbs and all kinds of things so if you want them to be happy and have something to do make it big. I just kept mine in a cage when i was gone somewhere other than that they were in the house or outside with me and yes they were potty trained, it is possible trust me. Try cotton candy mine loved it it is funny when the put in the water first two so you might not want them around water when you give it to them.
