How much to get 4 wheel drive fixed in Massachusetts from a mechanic and fuel pump?
Q. How much to get 4 wheel drive fixed in Massachusetts from a mechanic and fuel pump on a 1996 Chevy Suburban 2500. 4 wheel drive keeps making a crunching noise in 4 wheel drive and out of 4 wheel drive. Crunching noise coming from axles and the center of front end where gears are. Also looking for a price on getting fuel pump fixed.

A. It will depend on parts to be replaced, perhaps the transfer box should be replaced. A service kit for the fuel pump should cost around $60

How do tell the difference between 4/4 time and cut time?

A. 4/4 time is often faster than 2/2 time, and in 4/4 time, the beats are like HEAVY, SOFT, MEDIUM, SOFT In 2/2 or Cut common, the beats are HEAVY, medium in 2/4 time, the are only 2 chrotchets in a bar. HEAVY, MEDIUM. 2/2 time is also often slower than 2/4.

my 4 months boy is breastfed exclusively. I just start him on rice cereal. How much should i give him each?
Q. I have to work everyday, so I have to pump and baby sitter will feed him with a bottle, but he did not drink good. He only take about 4oz every 4 hrs. Is it too little for him? How much should I give him rice cereal each time and how many time a day?

A. He could be going through a growth spurt, so he won't eat as much. As long as he is gaining weight, then you're fine. I can't remember how much to give them when they're this little, but you can put it in the bottle. The directions should give an amount for how little he his. Good luck!

How much electricity can 4 million pounds of pressure produce?
Q. 4 million pounds applied everyday and how much does that translate into dollars? The weight would be from top to bottom and not all of the 4 million pounds would be applied at once. Most likely it would be on a average of 50,000- 75,000 pounds per minute. I was thinking a hydralic pump would be a good distributer to (some mechanism?) that produces energy. This energy is free Sorry, the weight movement is free, not the mechanism to convert the energy. Also, this is land based. Water isnt relevant
Asked by West - Sat May 24 16:36:36 2008 - - 7 Answers - 0 Comments
A. let's assume that we have 5000-75000ppm moving 1 foot that would be 50-75k ft#/min 44.25 ft#/min = 1 watt so we take 5000/44.25 = 1130 watts 75000/44.25 = 1695 watts This assumes also that you have 100 % efficiency in converting the pressure to watts.

A. Maybe give him a dose of baby tylenol before hand. Talk to him and get close to him. When the shots are over give him a binky and/or hold him. Just comfort him as best you can!

How can I get my 4 year old dog to get along with our puppy?
Q. They are both males. The older one is 4 and fixed. The puppy is 3.5 months. We have had the 4 year old for 2 years and the puppy for 2 months.

A. The older one is used to being the only dog. He is confused or thinks that the puppy is there to take his palce. Show your older dog more affection and attention. If you show him that you still love him and that the puppy isn't there to take his place, he should do better. Puppies need alot more attention and are so cute. Your older dog may feel left out. Try taking both dogs out in the yard. Play with your older dog and show him that he can show the younger one the ropes so to speak. That will give your older dog a reason to warm up to the younger one. Good luck. Hope this helps.

Q. She is sleeping for about 2 and a half hours to 3 hours each night. I heard that after 4 weeks they start sleeping longer during the night. A. It depends on the baby. All babies are different. Mine started sleeping better after 4 weeks old. By 2 months he was going about 4 hours at night and by 4 months he was sleeping through the night. But, that's just my baby. I know some babies who are a year who still wake up every 2 - 3 hours during the night. One tip that you can try is to try to extend her daytime feedings to every 2 1/2 - 3 hours. Don't go over 3 - 4 hours between feedings. By extending the daytime feedings, it helps them to see that they can fast at night. Also don't let her take too many naps, or too long of naps, during the day. Try not to change her diaper unless it's soiled or really wet. If you do change her, then keep it quick and effective with as few lights as… [cont.]

How do I get my 4 month old daughter to sleep through the night?
Q. She's a really good sleeper and goes to bed at 7 pm. We wake her for a dream feed at 11 pm but she still wakes up at 2 or 3 am (where she downs a 6 ounce bottle) and then again around 4 or 5 (she drinks another 4 ounces). Any tips to make her wake up only once?
Asked by Emma G - Mon Oct 20 09:12:43 2008 - - 7 Answers - 0 Comments
A. Maybe try keeping her up a bit later and not waking her up to feed at 11. Try putting her down for the night at 10 and she may wake a 4 for a feeding, then prolong the feeding by 10 - 15 minutes and eventually she will sleep through the night. I did this with both of my daughters and now they both go to bed at 8 and wake at 8:00am. Our daughter would wake and we would try rocking her back to sleep - as this allowed us to prolong the feed. It is best to try this on the weekend as you may be a up and down a lot on the first few nights until she settles into a routine. I am not suggesting that you starve your child (in case anyone thinks that), I am only suggesting that you try to calm or sooth your baby back to sleep by other methods… [cont.]

A. Welcome to the craziness of tax season. You will feel chaos right from the beginning of January (and actually things start happening in December, but not as intense) because audits of inventory begin. If you are assigned to the audit department, you will be busy with not only the inventory but receivable, payables, bank confirmations, etc. The unique thing about the chaos is that is happens all at once, you really can't piecemeal the work. You just work. Something about the day after the last day of tax season, it will take you a while to get back to where you were. You have been going full throttle for so long, it takes a day or two to do nothing. I usually watch TV and wonder what is that thing I'm looking at. If you have family,… [cont.]

Q. Interning for a Big 4 firm beginning in January, just wondering when exactly (if not right away) things will get hectic.

What are the pros and cons for starting a 4 month old on solids?
Q. My son has his 4 mo check up on Friday and I am anticipating the solids talk from the doctor. I want others opinions on starting solids at 4 months and not 6. How do you really know they are ready? What are the pros and cons in your opinions to start at 4, 5 or 6 months? Any other advice/opinion would be helpful, just trying to be fully armed with questions! Thanks!!! I honestly don't know if I want to or if we should wait. Just want opinions from others.

A. starting solids is not about age as it is about milestones. the Dr will ask you some questions and then let you know if it is ok to start. but if you want to wait till he is 6 months. then that is ok. nothing says you have to start at 4 or wait till 6. as i breast feed exclusively, starting on solids gave my breast some feeding support. since i didn't have to produce it all myself. however some moms might tell you they didn't like what solids did at the other end. that is going to happen no matter what. overall most of raising a child is one guideline after another. nothing says baby has to start on an exact date. just a guideline for parents.

What causes a 4 1/2 year old girl to develop a nervous habit?
Q. My 4 year old daughter has just recently developed a short hum noise when she breaths. When she exhales she makes a short humming sound. She does it a lot and more so when she's tired. Does anyone know what causes this all of a sudden?

A. Asthma maybe ? Asthma is the ability to breath in but not breath out to easily . So maybe she is helping to push the air out of her lungs ? Just an idea .
