What constitutes a clothing line/collection? How many pieces of clothing do you need to call it a collection?
Q. Are there guidelines/standards that must be met in order to call it a collection/line or is it up to the discretion of the designer?

A. I think there are no guidelines or standards for the top designers. It is the discretion of the designer after all he or she is doing all her design by themselves. As to how many piecesof clothing i once saw a top designer having their model parading about 40 pieces of clothings. Hope this helps.
